In a repeat of past successes, the School recently secured victory in the Senior category of the Harrow International Sustainability Competition for the third consecutive year.

We recently celebrated Mental Health Awareness Week, emphasising the importance of maintaining positive mental health and wellbeing. Research indicates that regular exercise can greatly improve our mood and overall health, which was reflected in this year’s theme: 'Movement’.

John Lyon Sixth Form becomes co-ed from September 2025
After proudly welcoming girls and therefore becoming co-educational in the Senior School in 2021 from Year 7 entry, and with girls moving up the Year groups and joining us at 11+ and 13+, we are delighted to announce that our 16+ entry point to Sixth Form will also become co-ed earlier than planned and ahead of schedule due to the success of our co-ed strategy.
University Fair
On Friday 23 February our John Lyon pupils in Years 10, 11 and Lower Sixth, as well as over 450 pupils in total from a number of local state schools we invited to our campus, enjoyed our annual Universities Fair.
